Many women who live with chronic pain also live with emotional suffering. Coaching helps work through your emotional suffering so you can live your best life. Emotional suffering can make pain symptoms feel more intense, last longer or add dread to an already painful situation. You have so much power when it comes to what you think. I show you how to recognize thoughts that just don't help you out, without gaslighting yourself or false positivity. Don't assume that it is your pain making your negative attitude.
Recover faster from bad days, interrupt the negative downward spiral of depression, and increase your resilience for high hope when you have to see yet another doctor or specialist.
When you are in a battle with yourself, part of you will always lose. You are in a battle if you think that your chronic pain isn't fair, that your body is betraying you or that it shouldn't be happening. We work together to mediate your relationship to your body.
We judge everything: ourselves, our circumstances, and others. When we stop judging and become curious, our platform changes and allows us to be better people. Imagine that you no longer judged your pain, what kind of experience would you have?
1. You are curious about how to have a better life, even with chronic pain.
2. You are noticing some mental health help come really come in handy, right now.
3. You have dreams for your life, and you are willing to try new things to really give it a go.
4. You just can't stand the thought of your life continuing the way it is. Even putting chronic pain on a shelf for a moment, the rest of your life isn't what you want it to be.
5. Your friends and/or partner can't always be there for you to talk to.
One to One Coaching is a once per week, 45-minute meeting over Zoom for 12 weeks (three months) for $600. Appointment times and dates are selected by the client, one per week.
Some clients find 12 weeks is just what they need to gain a whole new 'tool belt'. Some clients renew (and renew) and love the weekly check-in for continued support and want to learn even more self-coaching skills.
Worksheets may be assigned for deeper study. A thought journal will be strongly encouraged, some of my own best breakthroughs have been during my journaling time.
I consider myself to be one part of your wellness team. You are most likely working with physicians, pain management specialists, surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, physical trainers, etc. I focus on your mental health.
